With conduction, material is heated through direct contact with a hot surface. With convection, hot air flows through the material. Convection is considered more efficient and flavorful.
For optimal performance, we recommend light cleaning after each session and thorough cleaning with isopropyl alcohol every 1-2 weeks.
170-185 °C for light vapor, 185-200 °C for balanced effects, 200-210 °C for maximum extraction. Start low and work your way up.
The Tinymight 2 has an analogue adjustment dial on the bottom with 10 main settings and intermediate steps – around 20 temperature levels in total across the range from 120 to 240°C. The electronics regulate the temperature in real time with high precision.
In on-demand mode, the Tinymight 2 heats only while the button is pressed and immediately returns to standby. In session mode, it heats automatically and maintains a stable temperature until it is switched off.
Only high-discharge Molicel batteries are recommended: P30B (3.000 mAh), P28A (2.800 mAh) or P26A (2.600 mAh). Other 18650 cells may deliver insufficient performance or pose a safety risk.
The glass tube and cooling unit can be cleaned with hot water and washing-up liquid or in isopropyl alcohol. The internal parts can be removed easily by unscrewing the threaded ring on the front plate. Clean the stainless steel screen occasionally with the brush.
Yes, the vapour path consists exclusively of stainless steel and quartz glass. No adhesives, chemicals or insulating materials are used. The electronics board is separated from the vapour path.
Yes, excellently. The Tinymight 2 has an adjustable chamber size and works very well with both very small and larger amounts of material.
Original devices from February 2022 onwards have a serial number on the bottom panel and a registered security code. On fake TM2 units, the battery is often inserted the wrong way round – on the original, a "+" appears on the inside of the battery cap.
A charge from empty to 90% takes about 1.5 hours via USB with an adapter of at least 2A. The aluminium bottom panel becomes warm during this – this is normal, as it acts as a heat sink.
Yes, a quiet noise is normal. It is caused by the current pulses acting on the lightweight heating element with a large surface area. The sound is a sign that the heater is actively working.
Three steps: 1) Check the battery – use only Molicel cells. 2) Scrape the battery cap contact clean for optimal power transfer. 3) Adjust the calibration – the temperature range can be tuned in steps from -3 to +3.
Yes, the Tinymight 2 offers a calibration function from -3 to +3 steps relative to the factory settings. At +3, level 7 gives the same results as level 10 normally would. Instructions are in the manual (PDF).
Yes! The Tinymight 2 is fully compatible with water pipes. With the right glass adapter, it can be connected to various water pipes and bubblers.
The Tinymight is handmade by JTJS Products OY in Helsinki, Finland. Each device is assembled individually and given a unique serial number. The company was founded by a Finnish engineer.
